leading role and at Convergence we believe that, given the chance, you could
develop the skills to take this on. Learn to prepare a character from page to
performance. Develop or consolidate your process and generate material
under the guidance of the professional directors and experienced actor
trainers from top Drama schools. Online, for now!
"People, Places and Things" by Duncan Macmillan
A 10 week course to develop your scene study and character development skills based around the award winning play People, Places and Things. Delve into the causes of addiction and challenge yourself to play a range of states in a small class with only 10 places available. This course will offer valuable experience of researching and playing an addict, whether as Emma or Mark, or as a medical professional should you so choose. As well as generating useful audition material, the course will result in run-throughs of the ‘potted’ play, to give each actor the opportunity of sustaining a significant role.
